Darren has been working in Complementary Medicine for over 10 years. He first worked voluntarily as a healer for The National Federation of Spiritual Healers (name change in 2010 to the The Healing Trust) at one of their regional centres until he qualified in 2005. He broadened his skill set with ITEC and qualified as a Holistic Massage practitioner in 2002. During this period Darren maintained a dedicated yoga practice and subsequently qualified as an Iyengar yoga teacher in 2005. Darren later studied CranioSacral therapy with The Upledger Institute. He found this therapy to be incredible powerful as it merged the skills of the practitioner utilizing their intuitive sense of touch and perception with their knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Throughout his career and own personal development Darren has been interested in how our emotions affect our health and well-being. Through SomatoEmotional Release Darren is able to help a client resolve underlying emotional or mental imbalances.


Darren is a member of The Complementary Therapists Association, Iyengar Yoga Association and The Healing Trust.
